Holiday Inn Express Replaces 400w HID Lights with EverLast® 200w Classic Shoe Box Fixtures
Jackson, MI– December 30, 2010 – Successful hotel chains are dedicated to providing clean and comfortable accommodations at affordable prices. In a down economy, savvy hotel owners are managing to maintain competitive prices by implementing energy-efficiency initiatives. "Holiday Inn Express in Miami came to us to help them find a solution for reducing their energy usage because their electric panel was maxed out and investing in a new panel would cost them thousands of dollars," stated Victor Lucas, Energy Advisor for United Utility Services.

The Holiday Inn Express in Miami will see an estimated $60,000 in energy savings over the next 10 years, and virtually zero maintenance costs. "The owners were impressed by the 10-year warranty that came with the EverLast fixtures," Lucas stated. "Not having to replace lamps every few months will be an additional benefit."
EverLast® induction fixtures utilize a 5000K lamp with a high CRI (color rendering index), making nighttime visibility better for guests coming and going in the evening. "The fixtures are performing much better than expected," stated Lucas.
