JACKSON, MI – July 8, 2010 – Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc., a manufacturer of energy-efficient residential and commercial lighting products, celebrated completion of its new LEED-Platinum world headquarters and manufacturing facility with an elaborate ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 25, 2010.

Approximately 200 business partners, affiliates, and government officials, including Congressman Mark Schauer and State Representative Martin Griffin and Professor Michael Siminovitch, Director of the California Lighting Technology Center, attended the ceremony Friday night. "We wanted to set an example for members of the community, as well as the State by showing them what happens when you couple luxury and ergonomics with an eco-friendly environment," stated Michael Nevins, President/CEO of Full Spectrum Solutions, Inc.

The 72,000 sq. ft. facility incorporates a plethora of "green" features, including: cork and bamboo walls; carpet made of recycled fiber; geothermal heating and cooling; solar/wind powered parking lot lighting; and solar tracking skylights that integrate with a GPS system that travels across the Michigan sky and distributes light evenly throughout the facility rather than creating sunspots throughout the day.

Office spaces are equipped with ergonomic sit-to-stand workstations and overhead light panels that resemble the daytime sky. Employees are also treated to a weekly massage in a state-of-the-art massage therapy room. "My philosophy is that as long as my employees are happy, they will want to come to work, which results in higher productivity," Nevins said.

Full Spectrum Solutions manufactures its newest line of energy-efficient EverLast® Induction Light fixtures in its 60,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility. The U.S. made EverLast® Induction Cobra Head and Shoe Box fixtures integrate 80 percent recycled polycarbonate resin in each fixture body, making them one of the most eco-friendly commercial fixtures on the market.
