Premier
Boxing Franchise Installs EverLast® 250w Acrylic High Bay
Induction Fixtures
JACKSON,
MI
– September 28, 2010
– Metal halide high-bay fixtures have been the method of
choice for
illuminating gymnasiums and fitness facilities for decades, but
induction
lighting is now recognized as one of the best energy-efficient
alternatives. When
Chris Winters, owner and general manager of the LA Boxing franchise
located in
Paramus, New Jersey, decided to expand his premier boxing-based
facility, he
chose EverLast® Induction Lighting’s 250w Acrylic
High Bay fixtures.
Unlike
metal halide fixtures that buzz and take up to five minutes to fully
illuminate, EverLast® induction fixtures are instant-on and
soundless. Energy
and maintenance savings were two critical factors in Chris’s
decision-making
process. EverLast® Induction Light fixtures offer a 100,000
hour lamp life, reduce
energy costs by up to 60%, and come with a 10-year warranty, making
them an
energy-efficient and cost-effective lighting solution. Additionally,
they are
easy to install and maintenance costs are virtually eliminated due to
the
extended life of the induction lamp.
EverLast®
induction fixtures utilize a color-corrected 5000K lamp that produces
an even light
distribution. “The color, clarity, and amount of light
produced by the new
fixtures is outstanding,” Winters stated.
“I’ve always been a big fan of full
spectrum lighting and I was happy when I discovered it was commercially
available. The new EverLast fixtures produce a white light that creates
a cleaner
and more natural environment for our members.”
EverLast®
induction fixtures can be found in retail, fitness, warehouse, factory,
and
showroom facilities throughout the United States. Other fitness and
sports
facilities that have installed EverLast® induction fixtures
include: University
of Michigan Wrestling Center, Ampro Sports in Primos, PA, Model A
Fitness in
Boonton, NJ, and a number of Planet Fitness franchises in Michigan.
