ABOUT LDA & ITS FOUNDER
On August 1, 2016, John Bowling, aka JB, stepped-out in faith to embark on a journey to create a manufacturers’ representative agency for lighting fixtures and associated equipment. Thus, on August 8 – following the approval by the State Corporation Commission, Lighting Dimensions Associates Corporation was formed as a Small Corporation, based in Chesapeake, Virginia.
JB began his career at the age of 18 working for an electrical distributor in Norfolk. After 8 + years selling conduit, wire, and yes – lighting fixtures, he moved on to the rep agency side of the business for the next 27 years.
As for all of our manufacturers like EverLast Lighting, they too took that same leap of faith when they allowed LDA to sign on with them, and for that we are truly thankful.
