In partnership with CLTC, UC Davis replaced preexisting high pressure sodium (HPS) fixtures with EverLast® Induction step-dimming garage fixtures. This retrofit was conducted as part of CLTC"s Smart Lighting Initiative, an effort they have pursued over the past two years. This project utilizes high efficiency lighting sources using bi-level activity sensors that reduce lighting levels when no one is occupying the parking facility.
